We provide multidisciplinary library and information services to staff and students working for the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust and Norfolk Community Health and Care NHS Trust.
Our aim is to support staff and students with:
- Clinical decision making
- Commissioning decisions & policy making
- Life-long learning
Many of our library services are available for staff to use remotely such as online access to journals, book borrowing and document supply.
out of hours access
There is 24 hour access to the library at Hellesdon Hospital for NSFT staff using their ID badge. NCH&C staff can gain out of hours access via the hospital main reception using their ID badge for identification. Please note NCH&C staff need an IT account before they can access the computers. Please contact the library to arrange this.

We are aiming to minimise disruption to library services during COVID-19, please check the website or our Twitter feed for updates. For all enquiries please email email@example.com and one of our team will respond to you.
a new way to browse and read journals online
BrowZine is an online tool which enables you to browse, read and monitor all the journals available through the library in one place. As well as making it easy to see what journals you can access, BrowZine provides a seamless link through to the full text article.
With the mobile version, you can save articles to your smartphone or tablet and read them offline later. You can also use it to create a personal bookshelf of favourite journals, and be notified when the latest issues become available. Access is given through your OpenAthens login. If you don’t yet have an account, sign up today.

welcome to our new website!
We know that many of our users can’t travel to the library so it’s crucial that we can bring the library to you and enable you to connect with the information and resources you need as quickly and easily as possible. Our new site has been designed so you can access our online resources, including ejournals and ebooks, directly. We also have an extensive book collection, with the widest range of mental health titles in the region which you can browse anytime of the day.
We hope you like what we’ve done; it’s all here to support you with your studies, professional development and practice so please take a look around and let us know what you think at email@example.com
