We provide multidisciplinary library and information services to staff and students working for the Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust

Many of our library services are available for staff to use remotely such as online access to journals, book borrowing and document supply.

There is 24 hour access to the library at Hellesdon Hospital for NSFT staff using their ID badge.

Keep up to date with KnowledgeShare
We are now using an online web-based system, KnowledgeShare, to provide tailored current awareness updates for those working at NSFT. The system allows you to sign up to your professional interests and you will receive a fortnightly or monthly email update showing you new research, guidelines and reports in your chosen areas. latest update on library services
There is limited access to study space in the library, if you require space on a specific day/time please contact us in advance to check availability. Sanitiser and wipes are provided, please wipe the keyboard and mouse before and after your session.
The book room is now open for browsing (Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm); reservations can be placed on books using the library catalogue and they will be sent to your place of work in the internal mail, collection from the library office is possible by prior arrangement. Books can be returned using the internal mail.
If you’re working from home and need to borrow books please contact firstname.lastname@example.org in advance to confirm postal arrangements. 28 day loan periods have resumed. All other library services and resources including ejournals, ebooks, eAudiobooks, journal article supply, literature search service, literature searching skills training and current awareness are available as normal.
a new way to browse and read journals online
BrowZine is an online tool which enables you to browse, read and monitor all the journals available through the library in one place. As well as making it easy to see what journals you can access, BrowZine provides a seamless link through to the full text article.
With the mobile version, you can save articles to your smartphone or tablet and read them offline later. You can also use it to create a personal bookshelf of favourite journals, and be notified when the latest issues become available. Access is given through your OpenAthens login. We know that many of our users can’t travel to the library so it’s crucial that we can bring the library to you and enable you to connect with the information and resources you need as quickly and easily as possible. Our new site has been designed so you can access our online resources, including ejournals and ebooks, directly. We also have an extensive book collection, with the widest range of mental health titles in the region which you can browse anytime of the day.
