books on prescription
The national Reading Well Books on Prescription scheme launched in 2013. GPs and health practitioners can prescribe a book to patients from a core list of books on common mental health conditions which can be borrowed from the public library for an extended period.
Our library also holds some of the titles from the core list which Trust staff may wish to read. Find more details about the scheme on the Suffolk Libraries website and Norfolk County Council website.
mood boosting books
The Reading Agency have brought out a list of uplifting books including novels, poetry and non-fiction. They are available in our library for any of our staff to borrow. You can see all the titles here on our online catalogue ELMS.
