a guide to Browzine

an easy way to browse and read journals online

BrowZine is an online tool which enables you to browse all the journals available through the library and provides a seamless link through to the full text article.

Use your OpenAthens to access articles. If you don’t yet have an account, sign up today.


free app available

You can use BrowZine on any computer and also download a free app to use it on your smartphone or tablet.

To set up the app:

  • Select Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust when prompted to choose your library
  • Enter your NHS OpenAthens login when prompted
  • create a personal bookshelf of your favourite journals

    My Bookshelf allows you to build a personal collection of your favourite journals. Choose ‘Add to My Bookshelf’ when viewing a favourite journal.


    save and export journals (web version)

    To save an article, click on the folder icon and select ‘Save to My Articles’ below the title of the article

    To export an article citation to a reference management tool such as Zotero or Ref Works, click on the mortar board icon and select ‘Export Citation’

    A paperclip icon next to an article in My Articles indicates that it is available for off-line reading.

    To save an article, download it first then choose ‘Save to My Articles’ To export a citation, download the article then click on your preferred reference management tool to send it.
